Las Vignotes de Léa is a detached holiday home with a private pool near Rocamadour, set on 1.5 acres of private countryside in the Lot & Dordogne region of south-west France. Sleeping up to 8 guests, the house offers space, privacy and panoramic rural views, while being just a short walk from the village of Payrac.
The property is ideally located for exploring some of the region’s best-known destinations, including Rocamadour, La Roque-Gageac, Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, Beynac-et-Cazenac, Domme and Sarlat-la-Canéda. The Gouffre de Padirac, one of Europe’s most famous underground cave systems, is approximately 38 km away.
The Lot is a varied and scenic region, known for medieval hilltop villages, historic châteaux, Romanesque abbeys and prehistoric sites. Outdoor activities include walking and cycling on quiet country roads, canoeing and swimming in the Dordogne and Lot rivers, and visiting local markets and villages.
The area is also renowned for its gastronomy. Local specialities include duck, truffles, walnuts, Cabécou goat cheese and foie gras, as well as wines such as Cahors Malbec. Nearby rivers and picnic areas provide relaxed options for family days out.
Outside, the house features a private swimming pool with sun loungers, a dining terrace with BBQ, and open views across the surrounding countryside. The enclosed grounds provide plenty of space for relaxation and outdoor living.
Guests can choose self check-in or be welcomed on arrival by a local caretaker who will show them around the property. We live in Dublin but are always available by phone or email during your stay and speak both English and French.
